Write for us
We welcome clear, original proposals about how people take part in community groups and shared local activities. A strong pitch has one useful question, a defined reader and a subject that can be handled responsibly.
What to propose
Pitch an explanation, comparison, account of a group practice, or focused piece about invitations, roles, gatherings, decisions or continuity. Prefer a specific subject over a broad survey, and show what a reader will understand or be able to consider by the end.
What makes a good pitch
Include a working title, the central point, the intended reader and a short outline of how the piece will develop. Flag claims that need checking and disclose relevant interests. Do not send confidential personal information or present a general article as a substitute for local or professional guidance.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option or explain that your message is a contribution pitch. Please send a proposal rather than an unsolicited full article. We cannot promise publication or a response time.
Participation needs a clear next step
A good invitation says what is happening, how to join and what a person can expect. Groups work better when those details are easy to find.
